Happy New Year, Friends!
As New Year’s resolutions abound, we would like to take this opportunity to share our gratitude for what has been in 2023 and our excitement for what is to come in 2024.
There are memories etched on our hearts that will forever be part of the fabric of Transitional Youth / Braking Cycles. Young people’s lives were saved and eternally changed as they began new journeys of hope and freedom. And ours are forever changed as we have been witness to these priceless treasures.
As we look back on this past year, the milestones made by our courageous young people, are very similar to our own. These will also become part of the bedrock and foundation in what we continue to build moving forward in this New Year; prayer, determination, getting up again in the face of discouragement, hard work, forgiveness, grabbing hold of hope, saying yes to the hard stuff, pressing into challenges that will change you forever, investing in, and being a part of community where accountability leads to health rather than hindrance.
The truth is, it’s all level at the foot of the cross. We are in just as much desperate need for the redemptive work of Jesus as the young people we have the honor to serve. What a joy to be on this journey with them! And what a treasure it is to have you all on this journey with us!
