Our Need
As Transitional Youth moves forward to house, feed, educate, and employ multiple youth at a time, we need all the support you can provide. In addition to financial contributions which are welcomed, we require everyday items such as clothing and daily living supplies to maintain positive momentum. Financial contributions will help:
- Continue our outreach to youth on the streets.
- Further develop “Home on the Range,” a rural ranch home environment that supports youth in their transition from street life to home life and ultimate independence.
- Ensure that our residential homes have enough funding and operational capital to assist in meeting the high demand.
- Be able to accommodate smaller, ongoing daily living expenses, such as Tri-Met bus passes, appropriate job interview clothing, and educational supplies costs.
We welcome the following donation items:
- New and used men’s and women’s clothing in sizes M – XXL: jackets, sweatshirts, gloves, socks, underwear
- Weather protection: stocking caps, blankets, wool socks, sleeping bags, rain gear
- Toiletries: shampoo, disposable razors, toothbrushes, toothpaste
- Work and school supplies: notebooks, calendars, backpacks, resource books
- Gift certificates to: movie stores, music stories, department stores, coffee shops
